Today, i would like to introduce a useful wordpress plugin named Digg Digg. Digg Digg is actually an all-in-one social vote/share generator. Digg Digg supports Tweetmeme, Facebook, Google Buzz, Yahoo Buzz, Digg, Stumbleupon, Delicious, Polladium, Reddit and Comments.

Digg Digg have special feature which make social vote/share widget “hanging” beside the post instead of embedded within post. This feature is called Ajax left float.

Ajax left float: This will make the buttons wrap by a div block on the left side of the post, scroll down as the people read the post, A Mashable.com shared buttons scrolling effect cloned.

After install Digg Digg Wordpress Plugin, go to Setting—> Digg Digg.

Select Social vote/share widget that you wish to embed. For my case, i have chosen Digg, Twitter and Facebook.

Make sure you have clicked both Ajax Left Float Setup and Enable Ajax Library.

Adjust initial position by changing the margin-left value in CSS

Adjust scrolling position by changing the marginLeft value in JavaScript.  

By trial and error, you should get your Social Vote/Share Widget right in the position you preferred.

Recently, i have changed all of my blog from blogger to Wordpress.I found out blogging using Wordpress is more advance than blogger as you can configure plugin installed in Wordpress.
