From the daily visit to famous blogs such as Raymond.cc, Techcrunch, HongKiat.Com, i ascertain several similarities among these famous blogs which contribute to the success of these blogs. These similarities among them include 7 essential features installed/available in their high-traffic blogs.
7 Essential Features in Success/Advanced Blogging
Social Widget
To obtain high daily traffic, a Pro-Blogger must seek the help from famous social network such as Facebook, Twitter. From these social network, it helps to expand your social network to all around the world and thus gaining reputation for your blog. Number of fans (for Facebook) or followers (for Twitter) will determines/shows your blog’s popularity. Hence it’s often to show a high popularity blog to have higher traffic than a normal blog.

It’s too often to see “Sharing is sexy” between a post and the comment section. If you are not recognize them in this form, you may see them in other form but i am sure you have seen them before in any blog. Sharing tools is one of the most common tool to be used in promoting a post or probably a blog. Pro-blogger understand the importance of sharing information among internet users as this is the way to spread the news of your fresh and hot-from-the-oven post to the world. Pro-blogger never underestimate the power of sharing, they utilize it fully 100 percent in order to gain reputation and popularity for their blog.

“Facilities” such as RSS/Comment feed should be provided in a blog to send notification to subscribers. Reader tend to search new reading material each day to fulfill their need of knowledge. RSS feed does the job of sending notification to your blog subscribers about your new post and thus “remind” them to visit your blog for new information. A successful blog would make their reader addicted to blog content and increase their will to come back again. Tools assist in someway but the main attraction is always came from the content.

A picture speak thousand words. Picture makes your post even more attractive compare to a plain text post without any attachments/pictures. It’s why pro-blogger always insert related picture within their post to attract attention from readers. One thing to bear in mind everytime a picture inserted within a post is to track back to original place where you find the picture. It’s exactly shown in the previous paragraph of my post.

Reader often feel boring/lazy to leave comment after reading your post due to the normal, ordinary and old-fashion comment box used in your blog. Advertisement can also be categorized as some kind of information supplied to readers.
